Week9:How about TURKEY?

There are some terms in bowling.
The one which impressed me the most is the TURKEY. What is  TURKEY?
In the past, it is difficult to bowl a turkey so the resident in the country will eat turkey when bowling a turkey. BUT!!! WHAT IS turkeyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee???
Alright, turkey is a term which means bowling spear continuously three times. Sounding difficult, yeah, it is really difficult LOL. I have ever bowled a turkey once so far~~
In other country, the people even use the REAL TURKEY to bowl when celebrating.
Do you think it is unbelievable?? Shot by turkey!! I bet most of you have never seen that.

It seems easy playing by them, but it is the result of a lot lot of practice and depress.

We can admire their skill, but also remember to learn their spirit of never-giving-up!!

Week8:Bowling TRICK Sh0t

        Now, I am going to introduce the BOWLING~

        Bowling is not only for competition though, it is also for breakthrough lol.

        Bowling is like billiard, many people may think it is a bad activity for teenager. Or only bad guys would go to engage in this kind of activity.

        In the past, it is partly true because drug lords or violent incident might occur in these places. But time will change the environment. The surroundings of bowling have improved a lot. I am not kidding.

        First, I wanna show you the "TRICKs" in bowling. Of course, just like billiard, bowling has tricks too. Tricks make people happy, making them enjoying in the middle of participating.

        There is a group called "Dude Perfect", which screens many video about fun XD.

        They take bowling ball to the outdoor place, and I wonder the ball will be hurt or not. Why dare they do that. FINE, they have lots of money.

        However !!! PLEASE DON'T IMITATE THEM !!! THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED !!

Week7:Billiard Skill

        Today I want to introduce skills in billiards, including MASSE (曲球), JUMP SHOT (跳球), KISS etc.
        When I saw the JUMP SHOT first time, I was stunned. Many people including me have a wrong concept that jump shot is to pole the bottom of cue ball, but it is wrong!! Although it will make the same result, it  The right way to make a masse is to pole the upper part of the cue ball from a high angle. To get a "high angle", we need to raise hand's level.         The second technique is the MASSE, it is holy awesome too!!

        We pole the cue ball then the ball goes straight which is normal, how could they let ball go along with a curved line?? 

        Not to mention that when you make a masse and the targeted ball drops into the holes how pleased and excited you will be. There is a video about this:

Finally, what is KISS? Is that mouth to mouth? No you are wrong, it is ball very close to other ball!!

There is no benefit keeping on explaining this posture, no, the skill.

Week6:Trick Shots

There are many kinds of ways to playing billiards, if not, this game must be boring!

In Taiwan, eight-balls and nine-balls (sometimes fifteen-balls) are most common forms in pool room.
But these two are very "DIFFICULT". If you are just a beginner in billiard, these two are not kind for you. Because when you are playing with a proficient, you probably could't hit the balls many times.

Once you make a mistake, you might sit yourself until the proficient end this game because they have practiced the same postures hundreds of even thousands of times! However, making mistakes is also COMMON for them. Stability matters you are the winner or not.

Billiard also requires WISDOM and CREATIVITY. Why do I say so? You will know after watching the videos.

Then, "Trick Shots" is a recreation for those who play billiard, gradually, it becomes a form of competition. Its contain is funny, not formal rules. For example, let balls, maybe two or more, enter the holes within one shot. Following is one example for you. Hope this can broaden your horizon!

Week5:Interesting billiard

Somebody may regard billiard, or pools, as a harmful activity. And i was the kind of person before. 

That is because there were many gangs in those places in Taiwan before, but the condition has improved a lot so far. So, there are still many people all around the world enjoying it. 

I tried this ball sport when i was graduate from senior high school. Billiard's skills are all based on Physics. Moreover, I love Physics, so i have confidence in myself.

In the beginning i played well, but there is wrong with my posture. Fortunately, the keeper of the billiard room reminded me! 

I tried again and again, though it was hard to practice.

Billiard is, in fact, a funny game, not a bad game.

Today i want to show this, so, i upload this video.

Week4:the things that golf teach me

We all will encounter some predicament in our lives, so it is important how we confront these moments.

What i highlight is the attitude towards the environment no matter you are satisfied or not. 

For instance, if you hits a horrible ball, how would you do next? How would you think about this hit?  

Is your luck bad? Or is it some rough of life? Or might you even regard it as a challenge given by GOD?

At the beginning of my learning golfing, i felt frustrate because i always couldn't hit the "right point", as a result, the golf ball flew randomly. In other words, i played golf well or not depending on my luck lol, but i got the key gradually.

Once i hit the right position, a sense of  joy emerged in the bottom of my heart. I played better from then on.

There would be cocoon or wound in the hands or on the fingers, but it is a experience for me. Although it hurt in the beginning, now, it doesn't hurt anymore, even being a pride of me.

Week3:Go!f Clubs

Ｔhere are three kinds of clubs (高爾夫球桿) in the golf.

Ｔhe first one is called WOOD (木桿), whose heads are big. They have longest shaft (桿身), and they are made up of graphite (碳纖維) or titanium alloy (鈦合金).

Ｔhe second is called IRON (鐵桿), and, of course, they are made up of iron or stainless steel.

Ｔhe last is called PUTTER (推桿), and GREENS (果嶺) are their home.

Ｔhe people say that the tee off (開球) is just for showing off because it is the longest distance in golf, and it satisfies the people's curiosity and a sense of achievement.

Ｏn the other hand, the putting is for making money for it matters that you are the winner or not.

Ｈowever, you have to be patient and observing when putting. When you are observing, there is a term called "READ GREEN" in golf. 

Ｉt appears easy to be concentrated, but it actually doesn't.You will be affected by others no matter how well or bad they perform.

Ｉn my opinion, you can challenge yourself when golfing cause it tests your humanity, and you can also get more mature.

Week2:LPGA

Ｇolf is a sport made up of luck. It relates to the environment(such as angle, wind), experiment, etc.

Ｏf course, there are some golf competitions all around the world.

Ｆor example, Masters Tourament (also known as the Masters名人賽), PGA Championship (男子錦標賽), LPGA Championship (女子錦標賽) , United States Open Championship (美國公開賽), The Open Championship (英國公開賽) are well known contests. 

Ｉ watch LPGA the most frequently, not because i wanna see the girls rather than the men, just because  i think the men have more powerful strengthen than the women. It is clear when they are tee off (開球), but in the other hand , women can enhance their SKILL to complement their inadequacy of strengthen compared with the men. That is why i like to watch LPGA.

Ｗe can notice her high command of skill when she is under a dangerous condition, but she always makes it safe.

Week1:Go!f

hi, i'm Shih-I-Yang.I am going to share golf, billiard and bowling with you.
Today the topic is golf.
Golf is a fair ball sport. It suits all ages for fun. No matter you are male, female, young man, old man, the healthy or the disabled, you will enjoy it.
Golf tests your humanity because you will wanna use more muscle power to hit the ball when you are under good condition. Then,why do i say the golf is fair sport? There are four different TEE in golf. Their difference is color. The blue is for professional, the white is for the amateur, the red is for ladies, the golden is for the old people. And there are four different tee off point for these four kinds of people. General competitions have eighteen holes, but it is HOLY TIRING for you have to move on foot all around the course in three days!!! IF you score a eagle in par three hole, it is called"hole-in-one", just一桿進洞. Following is a video for Tiger. Sorry for the poor definition! but it is h0ly AMAZING, isn't it?
